About Us
Amidst the disruption caused by Covid-19 to our social and educational systems, we felt compelled to take action in our own small way. As a group of dedicated volunteers, we offer free online tutoring services to our fellow students and community members who are in need of academic assistance.
Programs that Stateline Student Volunteers are participating in:
- We offer cost-free online tutoring services to students from 3rd to 12th grade who require assistance. Please visit the Tutoring Services page for more details.
- Our volunteers provide meal delivery services to senior citizens in the local area through Beloit Meals on Wheels.
- Our volunteers collaborate with the Stateline Literacy Council to offer personalized tutoring to immigrants, assisting them in passing their citizenship and GED tests, as well as providing ESL tutoring
- Riya and Divya, the founders of Stateline Student Volunteers, launched a special initiative called "PROJECT TOPAZ" to bring joy to local seniors with personalized holiday greeting cards. As of November 2023, more than 15,500 handmade and custom cards have been distributed to seniors living in assisted living and nursing homes in the stateline region.
